TMBP uses a simple, rider-focused system to help you find the perfect trail:
Novice (White Circle):
- Wide, smooth trails with gentle slopes and minimal obstacles.
- Perfect for those new to mountain biking or looking for a relaxed ride.
|
Intermediate (Green Circle):
- Trails with some obstacles (rocks, roots) and slightly steeper slopes.
- Requires basic bike handling skills and a moderate fitness level.
|
Advanced (Blue Square):
- Narrower trails with more obstacles, steeper slopes, and some technical features.
- Demands confident bike handling and a good level of fitness.
|
Expert (Black Diamond):
- Challenging trails with difficult obstacles, steep slopes, and technical sections.
- Requires advanced riding skills, experience, and excellent fitness.
|
Connector Trails (Purple Triangle):
- Denote routes that are used as liaison routes (as is the case from THR to the TMBP trailhead)
- Also used to identify short connector trails.
