Insurance Claims

Rider Insurance & Claims

We love mountain biking for the thrill and freedom it brings, but the sport also carries risks. Every rider looks after their own lines and gear, and we believe in looking out for our community, too. Personal accident insurance is mandatory for every visit.

Your well-being comes first. If you’re injured during your visit, our crew can provide initial first aid, help coordinate emergency transport, and guide you through the claims process. On-site first aid does not replace professional medical treatment.

If You Take a Spill

1️⃣ Get help first
Don’t brush it off if you’re hurting. Notify Park Patrol or trail staff immediately and seek necessary medical care promptly. Our team can provide initial first aid and help arrange ambulance transport if needed.

2️⃣ Report the incident on the day
Arrange an on-site incident report with Park Patrol or the TMBP Office at the Timberland Highlands Resort Active Zone on the day of the incident. Getting medical care comes first; if you need help notifying the team, ask a buddy to alert staff. A same-day on-site report is required for your claim, but does not guarantee approval.

3️⃣ Hang on to your medical receipts
Claims are settled on a reimbursement basis. Keep the original BIR-registered hospital or clinic receipts for injury-related medical expenses.

What You’ll Need for Your Claim

When you’re ready to submit, our team can help you gather your park records.

🧾 Medical receipts: Original BIR-registered hospital or clinic receipts for injury-related expenses.

🎟️ Park visit receipt: A copy of your entry receipt from the day of the incident.

🪪 Signed waiver or Rider ID: A copy to verify your participation.

📋 Incident report: The official report detailing the incident and injuries. The TMBP Office can help you obtain copies of your park receipt, waiver, and incident report.

How the Coverage Works

🛡️ Required for every rider
Personal accident insurance is included in every ₱500 Day Pass. Prime Pass holders pay ₱50 per entry. This requirement cannot be waived if you already have an HMO or personal insurance.

🎟️ Keep your wrist tag on
You must wear your official TMBP wrist tag for coverage to be active. Keep it on throughout your ride.

💳 Reimbursement up to ₱17,500
You pay medical expenses upfront, then submit the required documents for claim processing. The policy reimburses eligible accidental-injury medical expenses up to ₱17,500, subject to the policy’s terms and the insurer’s claims assessment.

🏥 A backup for your HMO
The policy acts as a secondary safety net for eligible out-of-pocket expenses not reimbursed by your primary provider, within the coverage limit.
