Drone Guidelines

Bringing a Drone?

Contact the TMBP team before your visit. Drone flights require advance approval and a signed permit. Submit your signed application at least 48 hours before your planned ride. No signed permit means no flight.

Get Approval Before You Fly

1️⃣ Request the application: 1️⃣ Request the application: Use the Messenger chat button or contact us through our Viber Community for the drone permit form.

2️⃣ Submit at least 48 hours ahead: Send your signed form to the team by message or email timberlandmountainbikepark@gmail.com.

3️⃣ Wait for approval: Your request requires sign-off from Timberland Heights, Resort Security, and TMBP Management. Submission alone does not authorize flight.

4️⃣ Keep your permit: Once approved, keep the signed digital permit on your phone throughout your visit.

5️⃣ Check in: Show your signed permit at the TMBP Office at the Timberland Highlands Resort Active Zone when registering for your ride. Present it to Park Patrol or Estate Security whenever requested.

Rules of Flight

🏘️ Respect privacy: Do not fly over private houses, residential lots, or Timberland Highlands Resort guest facilities, especially the pool area. A privacy breach results in a permanent park ban.

📍 Stay in permitted airspace: Fly only over TMBP trail corridors, such as Launch Pad, Top Gun, and the Skills Area.

🚫 Restricted trails: No flights in the narrow canopy sections of Matrix, Parabellum, or Point Break unless the Park Patrol Supervisor gives on-site approval.

🚵 Riders have priority: Maintain a minimum 10-metre safety buffer from all people and park infrastructure.

🌳 No equipment rescues: TMBP staff and Park Patrol are not authorized to retrieve drones from trees, thick canopy, or private residential property.
